A great restaurant for small groups in an outstanding location close to cathedral, reservation recommended for more than two (can be made online). I recommend the creme brulee as it's served in a reasonable size for a good price and has a nice balance.

We decided to stop by this spot because the menu caught our eye, and the cozy vibe of the place pulled us in. Our instincts were spot on! Greeted by a warm and friendly host, we went with a classic Flammkuchen and a chicken and Emmentaler salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, but the Flammkuchen really stood out—it was perfectly crispy, well-topped, and simply fun to eat. The salad had a unique seasoning that made it equally enjoyable. To complement the meal, we each had a glass of Riesling, and for being in the city center, we found the prices to be very reasonable. If you’re in the mood for an outstanding Alsatian Flammkuchen in a rustic, laid-back setting, this is definitely the place to be!

Had a great lunch at Brasserie Le Vintage on April 21, 2023. Super nice owner, delicious food, terrific sidewalk cafe ambiance. We had the Tarte Flambée (Alsatian pizza) with cheese, bacon, onion, & mushrooms on it- Fantastic! We also had the potato pancake salad.. 2 big potato pancakes smothered with bacon & melted cheese over greens. Unique, excellent salad. A highly enjoyable & memorable meal that nicely rounded out our day in Strasbourg.

Fantastic tarte flambée, cold beer and a super nice owner that clearly cares about his guests. The food arrived quickly and the tables outside have a really nice ambience. Not cheap, but not outrageous. What else can you ask for?

Service is really good, place is cosy and warm but food wise not the best place in town. Yes the food is alright good but quantity wise it's a bit lacking for the price and type of plate you order (except maybe for the salad that seemed huge). Order a Tarte flambée or salad and you'll be fine. For baeckeoffe or choucroute I think there are better addresses to go to (if you want value / taste for money).
